NEW AND OLD MUSIC - 20 YEARS OF TV

It's a lot of time I don't update here.
Mostly due to a lack of activity here - basically, Facebook, Instagram, and Discogs are helping me to sell more than keeping a blog. And of course, personal problems, mostly health-related ones.
The death of my stepfather who raised me for 30 years.
Going to therapy.
Being a support to my mother.

But new albums came out. You can find reviews and listen to them through Looney-Tick Productions' Bandcamp Page.

Here they are:

Daniele Santagiuliana – “LA CUPA”
https://testingvault.bandcamp.com/album/la-cupa
Neo-classical small drone pieces with a twist of ”found footage lo-finesse”, recommended for lovers of early experimental John Cale, Tony Conrad, and David Lynch’s sound design, inspired by Robert Eggers’ “The Lighthouse” and Thomas Ligotti.
Limited CD Vinyl Edition of 100 From Bandcamp or Myself directly.

WANT MORE? “LA CUPA (Appendice)” – 5 extra songs.

DANIELE SANTAGIULIANA  "LA STANZA SUL RETRO"
A disc of makeshift recordings and performances with atonal, unpleasant stringed instruments - a testimony of internalized pain in pieces that oscillate between drone music and avant-garde inspired by the film "Possum" by Matthew Holness, and the idea of " Liminal Spaces", places where various performances on the disc have been recorded.
Lamps, Microcassettes, Field Recordings, Viola: Daniele Santagiuliana

A record born in memory of Carraro Vinicio, not a stepfather but a father, who died on October 8, 2021.

LISTEN TO THE DISC AT A SLIGHTLY HIGHER VOLUME THAN NORMAL.
Limited edition of 100 Vinyl CDs on Bandcamp, or directly from me.

TESTING VAULT  "GHOSTS ARE THIN AND FULL OF FILAMENTS"
https://testingvault.bandcamp.com/.../ghosts-are-thin-and...

“With this double album, you are buying nothing more than a small space of time inside an empty room.

“Ghosts Are Thin And Full Of Filaments” – just like a lightbulb.
That note was left on a 2015 diary after some terrible hallucinatory daydreaming or vision.
What I’ve seen stuck with me.
It became my motto

My “House Of Leaves”.

                                           Daniele Santagiuliana

Celebrating the first 20 years of Testing Vault not with a “Best Of”, but with a return to a form of primal and minimal sound (with some occasional deviations) taking notes of the natural and the supernatural.

In true outsider fashion, TV has been always present, personal, and prolific despite musical trends coming and going, keeping consistent in quality and slowly growing in popularity, still grasping for moments of light in an otherwise dark environment.

This double album only confirms the qualities of this Italian project that is difficult to label, yet fascinating for those who have the patience to want to dive deeper in it.
